...if you want to use it on a mule. Just buy a second account, group with your newbie Squad leader, and sit him in a safe place. Passivedefense and mobility modsare really the only good things they have. It's sad because it's the only combat oriented class that has no combat abilitys. While you are at it make your squad leader a dancer or musician, at least he will be useful in the downtime between battles. How about extra damage buffs for the group? Nope. We spent all these character points to have an RP class. Nice huh? Do you enjoy getting your ass kicked all the time because you spent half your character points on RP skills that could have gone to weapon skills?

Ok flame me, but I am Master SL on Intrepid (Newb is the name) and I am a bit disappointed. I was looking forward to being SL ever since the class was announced on the SWG site (years ago). I am not giving up though, I am sticking with SL in the hopes that we will be at least as useful as a chef someday (lol).

The only other use I can think of for SL is being a dabbler (like the CH dabblers), the Ranged defense seems to be a pretty useful line if you are ranged, and melee defense line if you are melee, but again, why not just have your second account squad leader /follow you around?

I may have met you before newb. My intrepid name is Snape, and i was a master SL a while back, but had to drop it after i realized it was essentially worthless. I hated to do it, i had some fun times leading groups, but once you hit master, that thrill is gone quick. I suggest you drop it, completely. I have since canceled my subscription. I have a feeling many will follow when they realize devs here are idiots. Oh well.
