Morning,
Here is an idea I had the other night to make the GCW (Galactic Civil War) more intersting.

Why not start scheduling full scales battles near certain cities?

I do believe if we started advertising that we are leading a raid against troops in certain areas at certain times, that we will make this game a lot more interesting and fun.

We could set up some rules, whats allowed and whats not allowed etc.

Let me know what you think about this.
I asked an Imperial SL named Jahn and he thought it would be great for 2 Master SL to lead battle groups against each other.

Maybe we could set up set battles and see how that goes, or start military war games, etc.

Come one lets turn the GCW up a few notches soon.

I wanted to do something like that with a bunch of guilds. That would be fun. I'd just need to actually be home in order to play though lol. **edit** work...

We do it on our server all the time. Just crashes the server anytime more than 50+ people try to do PvP in the same area. The first round I believe each side had more than 200 people showup. This weekend I believe we are doing Anchorhead vs. Bestine.

i suggested this on one of the galasxiy thread a while ago asa PA vs PA thing.

two PAs would pick a day time and planet. those PA would how ever not know where the other is and would have to send out scouting parties to try to locate where the other groups is. this woiuld have to be limited to cities because if both groups are hinding in an out of the way cave some where it would never work. then once a PA locates the other they would have to figure out the best way to get to them so they could start fighting. the fighting stops when every member of one PA has been killed one or a set number of times and that PA is the looser.

i guess it could be done bay any group not just a PA as long as they where all overt members of oposit factions.

i really like the idea... actually i would have my people meet at the historic flag east of Bestine! and give an inspirational speech...

But, the problem is i dont think people have enough respect for our class for this to work yet.....

EXAMPLE: i was walking back from a weaponsmith SE of bestine and i saw a LARGE group of rebs ( i am an imp by the way) heading to bestine. i ran forward and decided to warn the people of the impending attack. there were about 5 people on top of the hill at he small imp outpost in bestine and i told them that imps were coming lets group up and fight! (mind you i have MASTER SQUADLEADER posted over my head). One guy started inviting everyone into the group. i said "make me group leader" and he said "how" itold him "type /makeleader name" and he stoped for a second and then said "ahhh forget it... SL is brokenanyway"
