Thread: Squad-Leader enhanced missions

Something I just brought up in another thread, thought I'ld separate it out here.

What if Squad Leader's opened up new missions (much harder misions) in existing terminals? Any terminal?

* Entertainer Terminal - Have a SL organize a USO show for the front line.
* Artisan Terminal - Organize crafters to head to the front line to OutFit a unit, build defenses, or rebuild a base.
* Scout - Hunt big game, like Krayt's, or maybe hunt NPC's (Kill 15 Evil Hermit's).
* Mission & Faction Terminals - Destroy missions would be either much harder targets, or several targets in sequence (Destroy the 5 checkpoints that the Imperial army has set up between Anchorhead and Bestine, or destroy the 3 monitoring stations around Imperial Base A, then destroy the base). Delivery missions would be much like what the Smuggler's want for "SMuggling missions". You're given a giant hovering pallete of equipment at some location (it simply /follow's the squad leader, and moves pretty slowly) that you have to slip past checkpoints and guard from pirates along a route. Smuggler's would be required to forge papers or bribe officials for entry, combat classes would be needed for when those skills failed. Maybe require a droid engineer or some crafting class to "repair" the pallete if it's damaged.

This would add alot of the oft-asked for "Content", and definately make us desireable in groups. If these missions could replace the usual "Everyone grab 2 Kunga missions to the Northwest" setup that has everyone running around for a few hours (both XP-Wise and Credit-Wise) I think it would be great. Imagine getting a group of people together to deliver a shipment of weapons to a remote rebel base for a big 200k credits. Under constant attack by Imperials, TEF's and hunted by other Players once they find out where you are.

Any thoughts?
