Merchant already had reductions to structure costs in fact if your a merchant the cost to mantaine buildings and vendors is cut by 20% so this as a SL ability is rather ummmm not fitting to the SL proffession in anyway

Maybe give a 5% discount on city maintainance costs. Not really sure. But I do like your idea about giving something special to each profession.

It's a hold over from beta when it actually gave bonuses to the SL skills... does nothing now as the leadership skill (and mods) was removed from SL

I do think that the leadership stat should be under the leadership tree, and as far as things it COULD do, here are a list of things the leadership bonus could possiblyaccomplish (Im assuming that there would only be one picked, im just listing possible options):

Increase group size: similar to the merchant skill that allows someone to have more vendors, we can have bigger groups, maybe a master SL has a group of 25 instead of 20, and if human, 26.

Alter HAM costs: Since you could say that this stat reflects their SKILL at leading, and allows them to do their job smarter, not harder, the SL can give his orders relying on less of his time, focus and charisma, because his people trust him and his reputation as a leader more. So this can act as a HAM reduction on the high HAM cost abilities of SL. This would be similar to a burst run efficiency type skill, but apply to all HAM draining SL skills.

Alter Faction Costs: A well known and respected leader might get a faction point discount when buying orders from a rebel/imperial faction recruiter. It would make sense that a SL can order an extraction, or an air strike, or shelling of a position without costing him a boatload of faction points. The leadership ability can chop the costs down by up to 50% for faction pets, and any kind of NPC support fire, or a faction healer prehaps, etc.

Role Designation: The role designation idea (ie unlocking unique abilities for each profession) could also fit into leadership, and someone who is a good leader provides organization, and a job for everyone to do. This could be reflected by giving everyone what amounts to a group niche ability to function well in a group. More of these abilities become unlocked as your bonus gets higher.

Damage Increase: Some people think that it should provide a damage increase to the volley fire skill. Im against this myself, in fact, Im against the volley fire skill. You will always do more damage viaa sys message or group chat message telling everyone which mob to target and letting them do their own specials.

Im sure there are other possibilities for what to do with this bonus, id like to hear other ideas, or your opinions on which idea you feel suits the statistic best.
