Suggested Improvements – Brainstorming Ideas:
Fighter Support -Calls in an air raid of X-Wings if Rebel aligned, Imperial Bombers if Empire aligned, or Mercencary Craft that drop bombs in area target against enemies.
Artillary Support -Calls in an artillery barrage of area damage against target enemies or lairs/fortifications.
Emergency Evacuation – Calls in a dropship that lands within 30 seconds and teleports the group in area to squad leader terminal.
Dropship Out – Calls in a dropship that lands in 2 minutes and teleports the group in area to squad leader terminals, or even to any squad leader dropship landing location designated.
Dropship to Zone – Calls in a dropship to land group within a specific grid location on the world map. This can only be done from squad leader terminal locations.
Call Reinforcements – Drop ships land with NPC reinforcements that attack any enemies the group is engaged in. Reinforcements remain for 1 minute 20 seconds and then evacuate if alive to dropship.
Pain My Target – Highlights Hostile target picked by SL. Anyone targeting this enemy receives a bonus to hit.
Command Presence – Chance to cause humanoid enemies to panic or flee in the presence of a strong commander. Range could be 25m.
Rally Point – Squad Leader location is shown as waypoint with arrow always showing his location to group no matter how far away.
Rally (Redefined) – Bursts all HAM bars by 1000 for 10 seconds. Can only be used every 2 minutes. Does not interfere with any group member activities.
Demoralize Target – Ability to cause some status effects on target that is within 25m. These are not curable or removable. Lasts 60 seconds if hit succeeds. Can only be used on one target at a time.
Immune to Demoralize – Ability yields immunity to other SL demoralize.
Captains Sinking Ship – All creatures and hostiles attacks against group members are redirected to the SL. The SL is immune for 10 seconds to all damage and attacks but HAM bars are lowered to nil.
Assign Bodyguard – Humanoid or Droid pet that is designated as body guard. The body guard merely takes damage for the SL and returns fire if capable but always remains by the SL side. The body guard does not count towards the Creature or Faction pet total. It is a special additional pet for squad leaders. This pet cannot be told to attack, it merely defends the SL. It can be commanded to stop attacking a target though. It doesn’t have to be grouped either to perform it’s body guard duties. Special bonus modules such as leadership bonuses from Protocol droids can be fitted to such droids to provide special benefits to the squad leader.
Spy Droid – Allows the SL to take control of a small flying droid to scan remote areas. Basically it is a perspective change. The droids is controlled as normal and can float around instead of the SL putting himself in danger.
Squad Leader Sidearms – At the top of each discipline at the squad leader receives a certificate for a different type of weapon particular to the SL profession. These are for distinction and can possibly serve as tools that benefit the SL in some way. Could have squad leader modules attached to these weapons for special benefits of some type. Disciplines from left to right SL receives, 1 Pistol cert, 1 carbine cert, 1 rifle cert, 1 grenade thrower cert or special grenade type SL can use.
Flash Grenades – A grenade just for causing Blind and Stun to enemies.
Flare – SL can throw flares directly in front of them 15m or 30m. These last for 120 seconds and provide light.
Hit the Deck – All prone members or members that go prone are protected from incoming ranged attacks (avoid 90%) for 12 seconds.
Get Up! – Decreases incapacitation time by 50% for all group members incapacitated during use of this skill.
Destroy That Enemy – Causes negatives upon target to resist specials such as knockdowns, stuns, bleeds, etc. Lasts for 20 seconds.
Hit the Weakpoint! – Painted Target is vulnerable or degraded by 1 armor rating. All attacks can pass through armor easier.
Commanders Shot! – Works with all ranged weapon types, pistols, carbines, and rifles. Provides a x3 damage modifier.
Fortifications – SL can drop small turrets, up to three during a battle or to protect a base. These are sort of like automated machine gun turrets on stands. They can’t take much damage but can provide cover fire for troops.
Tactical Map – Can see all hostiles groups within a 500m radius on map or special SL map item pullup.
Tactical Cover – Camo’s group members from being seen by Tactical Map of other Squad Leaders using Tactical Map ability.
Many of these abilities can be used even when an SL isn’t the group leader though some should only function when group leader such as painting targets.

All of these ideas sound fairly good to me. Some of them have already been covered in other threads and what have you, but its still a nice list nonetheless.

Well, I like the ideas introduced but most are a little much I feel. Both in realism and fairness but as you stated... it gives them a some great ideas to brainstorm with.
Here are a few more that I have been thinking of that I feel would be simple ones easiely put in that will aid.
1) Fall In - Target Group member is put on /peace and /follow (Squad Leader). This will be a way to control those few people who insist on hitting the lair long after it should be hit. Or to bring back a Medic that happen to himself on the front line by mistake.
2) Group List Order - Change the order of the group list to the Squad Leader's choosing. WOuld be useful to put Medics on top and all pets on bottom.
3) Bunker - Similair to your fortication but just simplified. No need for it to be able to attack. Have it be placed like a camp and be used in battle to provide those in it defence and medics healing bonus. Crafted with the general crafting tool and have use Bone, hide, metal and wood to make.
4) Rally Point - Just saying because I really like this idea. Had this idea a while ago. Have a waypoint show up on all group member's screens so it's easier to know where to go in the heat of battle.
5) Not sure what the call the last but it was also mentioned... a small buff of all stats on all group members for a brief time. Have a long time in between uses on this one. Used for couple with retreat or for those BIG targets like Dragons or Kimos.
Just some ideas I hope to see implimented soon.
