Thread: Increased mobility

I'm returning to the squad leader profession after spending a whole lot of time away and I was shocked to find after a five month vacation from it...nothing has changed. I guess that's not entirely true. Back when I went through the profession the first time the mobility increases for your squad actually meant something. Nobody had mounts or vehicles back then so if you wanted to run through Dathomire you had to have scout skills or a squad leader with level 4 mobility. With the addition of mounts and vehicles I honestly don't see much of a point for that entire branch of the skill tree.


I really don't want anyone to view this as a squad leader bashing thread. Obviously anyone that has used squad leader skills in PvP massive combat knows how amazing they can be. The problem is only 3 out of 4 branches actually do something now.


Generally speaking I think squad leader gives up entirely too many skill points for entirely too few skills. I'd like to see something else added to the mobility branch to make it more useful in today's game. Don't take out the mobility benefits, but definitely add something to them...perhaps decreased vehicle wear (my guild uses vehicles a lot in PvP combat with great success), increased mounts burst run duration, improved mask scent and camo modifiers for people in the group with those skills. Does anyone else have any ideas for how that now useless branch might be fixed?
