I'm not squad leader, this idea isn't even my own. But as a 2hand sword user I feel your guy's pain. Maybe you should push for an abililty to heal your troops mind pool...you know raise their morale. It's a counter to the combat medic, and it is a large advantage for the troops under your control. hey just a thought and I don't even think it sounds unreasonable. maybe you have already pushed for this but I don't read your boards!

Following your suggestion, I just posted this in the combat revamp thread on the concept forum;
This idea came up in the GCW forum, when someone was complaining about mind pool kills -
A couple of ideas were bandied about, namely these:
/boostMorale should heal damage not wounds, practical upshot, by redistributing group damage the squad leader effectively grants free mind pool heals to all members (since the health and action pools are usually much larger) - this is like equilibrium on a group level, making the group MUCH tougher to kill.
Alternatively, a skill like rally or boostmorale should boost the secondary stats, enabling players to regenerate damage faster and to use less energy to accomplish tasks, simulating a state of motivation amongst the group members.
I know from when I was a squad leader that a lot of people have been asking for /boostmorale to do what it actually says it does, which is the first one, but how about having the leadership bonus affect the secondaries ?
I think those two changes might really make someone think "CRAP! They've got a squad leader!"
