Hey it isn't your fault...some one in your group was bugged. I've been at the geno caves on Yavin and had this happen a few times...if we disbanded and killed indivually we could loot but couldn't loot when we reformed the group. We spent a good 20 min cycling people out of the group while killing things to find out who was the cause and eventually did. He ended up having to logout for a good 20 min then log back in and he was good. I've had this happen with 3 different peopleon 3 seperate occasions...twice at the geno caves, and once hunting nightsisters on dath. All three times we could loot for a while then one person got bugged and no one could loot. This all started happening after the patch where the geno cave was put in..

In FFXI members of a party (group) draw lots to see who gets what. For example, say a krayt pearl is up for grabs, those interested in it can draw lots to get it, those that are not interested don't draw lots (there is an option do draw lots, so if you're not paying attention and forget to draw, you miss out). The one with the highest number wins that item.

You can do thatinSWGsortof those dices in the game can be used for something other than lottery tickets you know. All grouped members see the dice rolls, so this could be used to distribute loot as well. =)
