Did a test today to see if the passive ranged defensive bonus from being a SL adds above the 125 range def cap.
Test subject:
1x master SL/master carbineer
1x master commando/TK/riifle with ranged def after modifiers of 125 (before SL bonus).
Test:
Master carbineer shot at the master commando for a period of 60 seconds in a duel, while grouped and not grouped.
Test repeated 4x
Results:
while grouped, 19-22 hits
while not grouped, 19-22 hits
Conclusion:
SL bonus does not appear to stack above the 125 range def cap.
If anything, I think it should add above the cap to give the SL bonus that extra edge, Oh well.

According to the Devs, it does stack.
So I guess we've got a bug...

The duel challange confuses the test series.
You need a thrid person to assist you in your testing.
Series 1:
Subject 3 shoots subject 1 (series of 100 shots)
Series 2:
Subject 3 shoots subject 1 while grouped with the SL (series of 100 shots)
Series 3:
Subject 3 shoots subject 1 while both are grouped with the SL (series off 100 shots)
The third series is a falisafe. It is to determine wether the system is bugged during duels.
