This probably isn't my worst moment, as I tend to forget really horrible events, but one time I was at anchorhead shooting off rebels with a TKM friend of mine when some moron shows up and starts ranting and raving about how useless squad leaders are and how I'm not much of a threat. Well, before I could even get a word in he attacked me and killed me in, oh about 10 rounds. It was frustrating because he managed to prove his point. What's funny is that after that fight, my TKM friend went at him and I spent the duration of the fight in the cloning facility healing her dizzy statuswith the guy not knowing what the heck was going on hehe. So it didn't end so bad.
My best moment has got to be this fight on Rori as I still remember it fondly. It started when I got the message that we were going to raid a rebel base on Rori. After a lot of organizing, I was commissioned to lead a group of 10 that is supposed to patrol the perimeter while the main attack group goes in to destroy the base. I had a lot of fun talking to my groupmates, we were all psyched about the battle and we all got into the whole squad thing. We even named our little platoon, Team Ramrod.
Well, once we got to our destination via swoop bike all hell broke loose. The base happened to be right next to the town's shuttleport, so while we were outnumbering the rebels for quite a bit, eventually the sides started to even up. Man, I wish I had some screenshots of this because the battle was HUGE with a lot of people on screen. I remember the group chatter, which consisted of mostly "OMG look at all the people!" and "FINALLY a real fight!". Unfortunately, the lag there was also HUGE and I think it slowed down to about one round every three seconds. Eventually we lost, but just the sheer scope of the battle was enough to push away the awful feeling of losing. Everyone in my group felt like they took a part in this really awesome battle, and I was happy and honored to lead this group.
Go Team Ramrod!

Heh, interesting thread.
Mine would have to be the defense of a faction base. A new Imperial guild/city had just set up shop on Talus and put up a Detachment Headquarters in the middle of their city. Of course the major Rebel guilds found out about it only a day later.
They put out the call for help and every Imperial guild on Talus (which isn't a lot on Chilastra) answered the call. Arriving in Nashal, I was surrounded by at least thirty overt Rebels preparing to lay siege to the new base. Being covert, I got to the city (about 2km away) and declared. Reinforcements dribbled in and we had no turrets to defend ourselves with.
By the time the Rebel onslaught came, we had about twenty Imperials to their nearly thirty-five. There wasn't a Jedi on either side either, which was really nice. Since I was the only Squad Leader present, I was elected to head up the defense. Using my uber Squad Leader macro and charging out with my Jawa Ion Rifle, we repelled the Rebels in about ten minutes, suffering very few casualities as they were entirely decimated. Our forces couldn't get dizzy/kd'd and had infinite burst runs.
It was a huge victory for us and everyone was pysched.
However, four days later they came with three high level Jedi and took it out. Do'h.

My guild decided to take on a NS elder to hopefully loot a premium crustal. Well things went badly and one of our doctors dies and the other doc and I went out, I set up a camp and she rezed teh dead doc. Well the rest of our group had gotten scattered and what not and many of them had lost their buffs. I gave them the wp in /sys and they all headed over. One of them had the NS following him. I sprinted out and spammed Torso shot on her and got her to aggro me. I kited that NS elder long enough for the docs to buff all the people before I bite it.
I was so proud because I took one for my team.
