so basically there is a negative aspect to all the SL special commands? I have heard some negative to all of them except this one till now. I heard that rally and formup screws with medics or something along those lines. Is this true for all of them and is this going to get better after the revamp? Basically I want to know if one special command is worth more than any of the others, other than sys message I guess that is a good one.

Rally prevents harvesting, buffing, healing (I think), and prevents you from looting.

Nothing else really has any drawbacks. Formup, Retreat, and SteadyAim (when used in a macro) are extremely effective for any PvP group.

Oh well, I still love the profession and plan on sticking out out for my guild and my own amusement in the hope that the revamp will be soon and strong. Another concern of mine or just a complaint is there are a lot of people out there that just don't want to group up. I went to one of my popular spawn spots and there was one guy there killing off anything that poped up and he was more concerned about me stealing his loot and kills than helping me out. Shoot I would have just sat there and collected XP if that is all he would let me do. And the bad thing was they don't even give anything good to loot, just some measley amount of credits. Oh well part of the game I guess just had to get it off my chest.

You can still loot and heal while rallying. Everything else is the same though.

Rally prevents harvesting and rezzing. I'm not sure about buffing, but I believe you can still do it.

Boostmorale also has a negative effect to some of the players in the group in return for a positive benefit to others. If you have enough jedi with 0200 Healer and TKAs with 4000 then you can deplete all of the group's wounds by spreading them adn then having these players heal off theirs.

Yeah, that annoys me to all hell. Although it's not as bad since the FR2 and FR3 nerf. Jedi are better off benefiting from retreat than from using FR1. However, if they need to get out of a Jam, they have to disband from the group before using FR2 or FR3 so that they won't slow down when retreat leaves.
