Thread: /retreat not working for me or my groups

Im wondering whenever i hit /retreat i take a massive HAM hit and there is no speed change whether im bursting before i start or not. And no one is my group is noticing a change either, yet i still take the massive HAM hit....what is going on?
am i doing something wrong?
(( You mention that ppl have this on a loop, i could not imaging how with the huge ham hit that it requires....even buffed anyone spammming this would be down to 0,0,0 real quick ))

/retreat does NOT work for yourself. If you read the description, it says something along the lines of sacrificing oneself for the good of the group. And your group members might be on a different side of a server boundary.
as far as being able to spam it, you must be wearing some extremely heavy armor, or have really bad base substats. With 2.5k Doc buffs and no armor, the only thing you should be losing is mind, and musician buffs takes care of that.

so the group is supposed to feel it but i am not. ok i will test it again tonite.
are they supposed to get some sort of icon by there name like "/rally" does?

no....they will see the system message spam as though they are burst running. I also think there is a message saying "your Squad Leader orders a Retreat," but don't quote me on that...it's been a while sincea SL has used retreat for me.

nevermind i asked the grp of vet i was with last night and indeed they felt the boost.
still "/retreat" taxes the HAM severly...even buffed.

If you're suffering on every stat...hit a Breath of Heaven...no worries.
