SL is the ULTIMATE TEAM PLAYER profession. You gotta be ready to play that role. So yes very good, but take time to learn what you are doing, and how to do it well.

Your fighting ability will suffer, however everyone else in your group gets to run around in almost god mode killing everything. MSL can make friends real fast

it doesnt suffer much when you take a ranged profession.

rifle/sl is popular or carbs/sl

since youre normally not at the frontline you dont have to worry much about defenses.

just dedizzy/stun your tanks and youre safe.

give it a try. in a large group you get MSL in no time.
