Thread: Squad Leaders and patch 13.1

has anyone been in-game yet to test out today's patch? Previously, the devs have said:

From the GCW notes:

Squad Leaders

* Squad Leaders who issue orders while they are Combatants will not benefit Special Forces players in their group.
* Civilian squad leaders who issue orders will not benefit anyone but Civilians or those "On Leave."

But what about Spec Force SLs? Will they affect everyone grouped? Just combatants and Spec Force? Or just Spec Force? I am wondering what happens if I take my Spec Force SL out on group hunts with combatants if I will have to go "on-leave" first.

I asked in the "In Live" forum in today's discussion thread, but it quickly got buried under tons of questions about ADKs.

If anyone can help with an answer, that would be great!

Hmm. Presumably SL commands follow the healing rules. So a special forces SL would be able to issue commands to same factioned special forces, same factioned combatants, neutrals, and all "on leave." Anyway, this is my interpretation of how it works.

:shifty:

That's how it is supposed to work. If you are at the top of the chain you affect all links below you.

Hehe, I answered your question in the live forum, but by the time I got to reading the forum, it had already been buried. Glad you got your answer

Yes, Special Forces SL will affect anyone of the same faction in their group, civilians and those "on leave."

SHH! SL-Bots can't read, if we keep this quiet, it'll give groups lead by live SLs an advantage for awhile.
