It seems like this would be an awesome tool for a squad leader -- to be able to average damage over the entire group, rather than let individuals take damage, one at a time. Such a tool could make the squad-leader professions quite worthwhile.

Q: Does it work? If so, why isn't it used more often? I never see evidence of this.

Sincerely.

You'd hate us for this: It distributes *wounds* (not damage!) evenly across the entire group. Imagine yourself coming fresh from a cantina and hospital, joining a group and zoooom: half-black HAM-bars because some other players were severly wounded.

It's a goofy skill if you ask me, and I don't get how it boosts the morale of anyone, except the person who went from massively wounded to mildly. But exactly how can a leader walk up to people, and wound them all while healing another person? Does that make sense in the real world... Even if it did, why would you do it and why would the healthy people think it's a good idea, or boost to morale. They should call it "Even Out" or something, or "IrritateEveryone." There's someone on Sunrunner that uses boost morale to heal himself and inflict grief on others, he laughs about it. That sort of thing is going to give us a bad rep, instead of our current,"useless novelty" rep.

Like I said before.. the severely wounded guy punches all those grinning, healthy ones for as long in the face as it takes to make him feel better :-)

Private Johnson, you punch Sergeant Smithers.
Sergeant Smithers, you punck Private Wilkins.
General Dissaray.. if you would punch yourself, Sir.

Quite a difference between wounds and damage. Equalizing damage would allow the group to continue, full strength, throughout the entire fight, (unless they completely lose, and everyone is incapped). Equalizing damage does nothing for the battle, and nothing positive for the next battle. A medic would have to heal more people after a battle. What an odd thing.

Well, if they fix this skill, then it would be awesome to have.

Thanks.

basicly no, it does not work because who in their right mind would want to inflict wounds on their group? its stupid! it should be damage but the DEVs screwed it up.

How do you improve the entire game, and one of the more useless professions at the same time? Well this is a start: Help Support the http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=squad_leader&message.id=10609>Fortification Proposal

If the developers did this with damage instead of wounds it would be a useful skill in my opinion. When I read wounds I thought what would be the point of that.

The only time I have used Boost Morale was when everyone was sitting in a camp healing because we had not Doc. Boost Morale made everyone have the same wounds and heal at the same rate, and was the most efficient way to get wounds healed in a camp. As I said though it was a rare occaision where there was no one in the camp with medic skills enough to heal wounds.

This skill has new use, now that combat Medics can heal mind damage. They take mind wounds when they do. This skill would allow the CM to heal mind damage, and have the SL redistribute his Mind wounds. Now that they put mind damage healing back in the game, this skill has at least a little use.

I've spammed this over and over, and it doesn't work....am I doing something wrong? Its supposed to average out the stats like a Zabrak's equilibrium..but it does not work. I may have the name of the skill wrong, but either way, the skill I'm thinking of doesnt work for me. Any advice?

This equalizes wounds (black bar) across the entire group. It does not spread damage over the entire ground (white bar)
