As an SL that really does go into commanding my troops, I am on the keyboard more times than I am on the mouse and hotkey. I would really like a change in the ability names and usages. Why can't we just type hit2 instead of polearmhit2/unarmedhit2/etc? When I go to the hotkey, it slows down my communication time with my team, and I would rather it not happen. So why not just use the command and it will auto-detect what weapon you have and choose accordingly. I mean the message comes that you can't do the command for that weapon if you use the wrong one so, why not just make it search for it. I dont' know how everyone else feels about this, but this would be a very helpful implementation.

I just dragged my rifle and my VKs onto the hot button board and can switch from one weapon to the other using the Function keys. All my actions are hotbuttoned and I rarely use the mouse when fighting.

I use hotfunctions too, but I'd rather just type them out. Keeps the pace of the game intact IMO, instead of having that minor reach to the fkeys. I haven't been trained to use them and, I'm sure many of you out there are in the same boat. Just thought this would make it easier.
