Thread: CH Nerf=Dump Squad Leader
Hey guys...it's me again...the guy that almost gave up SL last week because nothing worked...they fixed rally, but are going to break Creature Handler....sooooo I am going to dump what I have of Squad Leader and all of Ranged Support (I am currently 0/0/0/4 in SL) to get Master CH. It is the only way for me to stay effective. I like Squad Leader, but the fit is just not for me. I play early in the mornings when the servers come up (maybe come up....8am EST range) and no one is on hardly for me to lead. I do have great fun when there are lots of people on though...led a group of 15 to a Krayt hunt last week (That was awesome!), but sadly, I cannot loose my Grauls...they are too effective. This proposed CH nerf is going to cause EVERYONE that has dabbled in CH to go for Master...then we will have less variety than ever before... Maybe I will be back if they put something REALLY good in Squad Leader, but as it is...it costs too many points for too little content. Plus I think it will be a LONG time before SL gets anything pushed to it (months at least). Later guys....

The final days of a Squad Leader....
If you only play early mornings and there are not many people around to group with so you need your pets to group with you, you are not in the right profession.. Sorta of like a budding crafter saying that he wants to craft but doesnt have any materials to do it with since he doesnt have the time for harvesters..
Yes go master CH, it seems like a better fit for you than a class that relies on groups for xp and ability usage ![]()
Here's a thought, grow some balls and get some tactics. I do just fine without a pet let alone 2...
What an intelligent, well-thought out response. I stand in humble awe of this Do-or-Die, Caution-to-the-wind attitude. How very, very correct you are sir - I only wish more people would take your stance in this regard.
Truly, what purpose does this profession serve, other than to provide bragging rights? Indeed, what better way to provide bragging rights than to perhaps couple Squad Leader with Commando. Flame Cone 2 is, truly, the pinnacle of "Ballsy", and **edit** whoever so dare speak otherwise.
Further, I am completely and fully in agreement with the disparaging of another's style of play. How droll for someone to develop tactics-deficient modes of engaging the enemy; though these individuals may claim to put to use tools provided them, in the most efficient and lethal manner, it is nothing short of button-pushing. Really, who honestly thinks managing multiple minions, switching targets in the midst of battle and directing fire at the most dangerous enemies as they become apparent in the fury of battle is anywhere NEAR as complicated as clicking the macro /doubletap? Madness. Sheer madness.
These misguided fools should cease their feeble attempts at **edit** style gaming. What right do they have, at all, to enjoy a game? That's not the way it's meant to be played by real gun-toting, gutterally-grunting, steel-hauling, sweaty manly men.
I further agree with your implication that women should not play Squad Leaders. In fact, I agree with your opinion that women should not play games at all. If anything, they should massage the feet of their menfolk as they grunt and pant and sweat profusely, working out the intricacies of /eyeshot. And cook dinner while the menfolk shop for Ballsy weapons.
Down with diversification, fun and playing the way you want! DOWN WITH IT I SAY!
Hey Raanan, I got your balls right here, right next to your "tactics".
