I hate grouping... I never group...lol I'm a nice guy, and I'm social... I just like doing my own thing.

Ha! Xp is so screwed up right now there are no really good tips for you. Wait a week or so and see if they finally fix it. Then maybe we'll have tips. As is it could take you between 10 and 20 months to get master. (based on xp being 1/10th of what it used to be.)

As of now, with the xp system for Squad Leader being borked, the only way to gain decent xp is to group with about 15-20 other people (not including pets) and kill rancors or krayts. Then you are looking at about 1500 to 2500 sl xp per creature. With 4.9 milling xp needed to master the profession I hope you enjoy your very long and perilous journey, and brush up on you social skills. You will need them. Muahahahahahaha!

But don't fret. They are suposedly revamping the xp system.

lol I mostly solo, and I got SL, too. I figured it could be worse. It could be ID. Then I found out SL was broken. That was bad. Then the xp thing hit. Ouch.
I'm looking on the bright side, though. It's combat oriented. I'll be out in the wilds instead of sitting in a cantina pretending to be a Prostitainer. CaptainVemnox is working miracles against the xp nerf. Yay for that. I'll be able to finish everything in the game while working on SL. har har I get to drop BH! Woohoo! And the best thing: I finally have something concrete to work on for FS!
Guess I'll be hosting events for the PA I'm in now. Me a soloer? No, no, not at all. I'm the new Events Coordinator. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Well I got 160k SL xp since I made this first post about 3 hours ago... Is that good? Seems slow as hell to me..lol gonna take forever at that rate... especially considering there will be very few times I can put together groups of 15 masters on Dantooine to all fight together when they can all solo just as quick.

my sugguestion, start a new char and pray to the force that your new holocrom doesnt say SL.

no im just kidding, any way there really isnt anything i can suggest because im not exactly sure if the SL XP formula isnt going to change, last i heard the changes where temporary so anything i suggest may be old new tomarrow

I feel your pain, months or TK training gone, then the XP botch. *THE PAIN*

I have my faith in SOE and our Champion to help me through, but it's dying quickly. For a class that is dependent upon the other players to get XP: it's a nightmare!

Frankly I'd never have tried it 'cept for my holocron's "helpfull" advice. So be it!
