my real consern on sl is givin ranged and melee defesnse to the group... does it really give a stack of defense? btw thanks for your post

is this profesion working? i mean.. does it really gives all the squad the defensive and heals as it says it does? or stay bugged as hell?

most of it works, but a lot of it is weak. The commonly used skills as of now is Retreat to give a group burst run for fighting and formup to get rid of stun and dizzy states. Also some use boostmorale when tkas are in the group and the terrain negotiation helps out non scouts and jedis.
The passive buffs are weak and certain other skills suck or are broken
Rally is broken - it prevents dragging, harvesting, and some other game functions
steady aim only lasts one round
and volley fire kills queued specials
probably the ideal squad leader skill set is 4044 you could also do 3043 which saves you 4 skill points at the lost of more burst run efficiency and a little boost to group ranged or melee defense im not sure which it is. Burst run efficiency can help you out however if you are spamming retreat like many SLs do.

Does it work for pets too? If I was a creature handler would my pets get the +25 melee defense too? How about terrain negotiation etc?
