Thread: Turning off yells.

Is there a way to turn off the yelling of skills when you use them? I like anime and all but if I hear 'I'll hold 'em off. Get out of here now!' one more time I'm going to shoot myself.

i find going afk helps cause half the population have afk chat turned off.

I always wondered why CSRs moaned about AFK spamming SLeaders....

Just be wary, that being AFK while SquadLeading makes you a prime target for booting by CSR's. They'll generally contact you once or twice before they do anything, but having the AFK tag puts you in the crosshairs.

I set up a macro for each command....so far so good.
SteadyAim
/afk;
/pause .5;
/steadyaim;
/pause 5;
/afk;
Its a little ponderous, but it works. The 5 second delay was because sometimes lag makes the yelling happen later than you would expect. So far 5 sec on all of them has worked. The other thing that kinda sucks is you end up spamming yourself with messages "You are now away from the keyboard", "You are no longer away from the keyboard". But I guess its worth it. I also thought about setting the text to just a single period, or a "space - period - space". We really should be able to adjust this. Maybe is show up as a Sysgroup message.
Btw, is there a way to /set other SWG commands? Can I "/setsurvey Hmm, this looks like a good spot to dig..."? So far I have had no luck with it, hehe.
