Thread: How good is the SL Revamp?

I read the SL Revamp notes and i must say, it's looking great from what i've read. Sadly though, I haven't had the time to test the revamp out myself
But from what i have read, i'm thinking of changing my template so i have MSL. So to those of you who have tested it, how good is it? Is it worth the time i would have to grind

First off, what publish 24 looks like is not set in stone yet, and it may be being tweaked as we speak. We're going to have to wait a little longer to see exactly what is going to become of it. So to answer your question, we're still going to have to wait and see, but it looks like it is going to be strong.
On a second note though. I would discourage you from picking up SL for that reason alone. What I've told people who have asked before, don't pick up Squad Leader just because it has good abilities. Pick up squad leader because you want to be a leader andare willingto sacrifice some of you personal abilities so that you may be of greater use to those around you.

Good advice Tiree. Realy ponder ahead a month or two and think about how it might be fun or not. Or give it a go on testcenter. Even though the new abilities seem to attempt to dumb us down some, it'l still take a good team leader to makea difference, so decide if you want to interact with people that much or can handle it. Still it's not too difficult to grind up so you can always start out on it and see if it's your thing, maybe find a master SL and tag along with them for awhile.
