Hi, I'm considering taking squad leader.

Now I was wondering one specific question. The tree seems pretty poor and from what I've read it is disappointing. But one skill i'm interested in is volley fire.

I'd like to know exactly what this does. Does it just set the current target of all the group members to the SL's target? Or does it also make them all initiate combat? because if its the later, that is much less useful and I see no real reason to get squad leader yet.

The former would be great just to point out to the group certain things. "We might need to snare this one if it adds, look out for that Mr Ranger", "This is the one we're going to attack first", "Billy, please warning shot this one away".

So if someone could explain exactly what volly fire does, I'd appreciate it.

One other question with volley fire i forgot to add:

If i target myself and invoke it, will that work and get everyone targeted on me? so I can go like ctrl-1 /vollyfire /sysmessage "Form up on me!"?
(just made up the /commands, not checked what they really are)
