After a short hiatus The Galaxy Report is back. We interviewed Dvnce the Architect Correspondent and Darth_Sushi the Squad Leader Correspondent. We also do our usual review of the week in SWG. Head on over to our new website. You can download the new epsiode plus all of the older episodes. We now have forums up for idea sharing and a thing we call The Bug Wiki.
Thanks to Darth_Su**edit** for coming on the show to talk about the upcoming SL changes

Yeah, that was fun. I encourage everybody to head over to The Galaxy Report and check out the podcast. Fariq and Ghiren are big Squad Leader supporters, and the show is pretty entertaining and put together well.

I just listened to it.
As we "12"
are all pretty much up to date, not much new news for us, but good for the community to get to know us (as the "The Magnificent Seven Twelve"
).
Personally I dont have anything against dabblers, as long as the respect the community as well as the master players.
If you have a vision for your character, either in "in character" way or as "maximizing your templates effect", thats okay (since they have either decided for it or have done the researched what a SL can do) but the ppl who come in just trying to -rip our profession apart- because it became "pretty" strong (also known as FOTM players), who just respect/powergrind it and dont even know how to play it are, as AlienEntity already has stated, pretty annoying.
Its been just like during the respec time after the CU, when MSmuggler were everywhere and we're invading the Smuggler forum, asking "How do I slice?".
To quote Darth Sushi: "As long as they behave", everyone is welcome, dabblers or going to be Masters.
And like that guy in the background mentioned three times:
We got the Dawnsorrow rifle.
And Im saying this as carbineer
.
oh yeah

Good work representing us there!

Interesting interview. This is the first time I have listed to the Galaxy report. My hats off to those guys and to you darth for taking the time to give the interview.
Just for the record, as far I am concerned Kelderian's comments haven't done anything to mollify the concern aboutsquadleader notrequired to begroup leader. Just because the Devs have revealed that their vision for squad leader is for it to be the Bard of SWG, but we don't have to agree or consent to their vision.

Aye.... but remember, the interview is not for SL-only audience. Just rambling how bad the new concept is won't do us any good, either.
So, i assume for the galaxy report, it was smooth enough, i just hope the Devs don't just listen to that and suddenly think, we got struck by Alzheimer and don't understand the problems of the concept any more so they now can push the thing to live without any worries...

We make sure we mention that we would rather the devs take their time and get it done right and not just push it out to make people happy bugs and all.

Might I suggest adding in when you all bother Tiggs about doing an interview you add that in as well.

I'll add it in there. The tricky part will be getting her to read it
