Very much aware of what "scurvy" is, and didn't have to google it... Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) deficency which causes a breakdown of the protein collagen binders needed for intermediate tissue, bones and dentin. For pete's sake, didn't know this was aDietarySciencesforum, lighten up... sheesh... this is talk like a pirate day... and references to "scurvy Ninja Pirate" is akin to calling some a "tough SOB"... also refered to as the postive nonliteral. So in light of that... Push off' you scurvy tarq'! And prays for mercies on the sinking of your black'nd soul!
