Hello, I'm a hardcore smuggler, and know what its like to have an ignored prof... I was thinking of grinding up a toon to be Master SL/ Master Ranger... I want to do this BEFORE the changes to SL and Ranger happen, and at the least, before the Ranger changes happen... Any suggestions on how I should go about this? I know that SL requires pistol xp (stupid in my oppinion... I know, I'm a smuggler) and I'm not sure if its extremely innefficient to grind up SL now without pistoleer and such.

The reason I want to grind them, is because I want to see them in their FUBAR'd state they are now. Any advice would be great!

get a dl44 xt pistol......i got one and its great for grinding....cheap too

oh and when i did it i was MBH/MCM

Hmm... Is it possible to do a straight grind up to Master Ranger/Master SL? If I'm not mistaken, its a wasteland barren of combat mods... Let me rephrase that, can I do it in less than a year?

It's been a while since I respecced, but a Bol grinding group on Dantooine should net you that template in under a week if you put your mind to it.

I imagine Ranger wouldn't be hard to master in the CU. the scouting exp alone is easy. Not sure about the trapping. And since the camps part of scout/ranger also requires scout exp, no crafting involved.

The biggest issue you will have bud is the trapping xp. That takes the longest now.

Scout xp in general will just flow in so you will just blitz through that but you need to kill grey cons initially get your trapping xp up. I would advise trapping food if you can get it because it makes it a much quicker experience.

Ya i am Master ranger/MSL right now..... i was a MBH/M rifleman took me only 4 days to get to master ranger and master SL

Traping is by far the longest grind for that temp but once you know how to get good exp(look on ragner form to find out how) it will go faster
