Is it just me or is SL broken?

My friends and I went out last night to get me SL xp and hopefully MSL. We went to Dathomir to kill nightsisters, but instead of me getting SL xp, I got nothin. The only way I got ANY xp at all (and it wasnt very much) was if I done damage to the mobs. Now I was at the genosian caves on the 27th and man I was getting a ton of SL xp and didnt have to hit everything to get the xp either. Now my question again, Is SL broken?

Very good question. Anyone else experience this? What you are describing is the post-release xp formula which was change quite a few months ago now.

well i am assuming you made sure you were group leader because i know i never got xp when i wasnt group leader (because you arent supposed to correct?) If that is the case then either you had that xp display bug that was supposed to be fixed with publish 9 or SL is broken. They were going to change the SL xp system because people could get up it so quickly even though at this point master level is no better than 2222 cuz skills and bonuses suck.

Having the EXACT same problem, no XP unless I do the killing, and then it is so little that it would take me months to get 1 of the higher level boxes, I killed a Mutant Rancor, and I think I got 300XP, give or take a couple, I am hoping this is a bug otherwise I might have to give this profession up, because that is just insane.

Seems to be iffy. They must have messed with it...

Sometimes I can get squadleader xp when I'm in a solo group (no one within range) Only based on the combat xp I get tho

Sometimes I have to attack them to get xp (in a group)

Sometimes it acts like normal

I had the same Problem today, spent 3 hours and made 180k SL xp, in a 6 person group killing janta.....made more money then i did xp.....

damn when i moved up SL i did it in 2 days sitting in one of those exploiter groups. They were killing singing sisters through the door and i sat there as group leader not attacking a single thing (exploiting is bad lol) and with a group of 20 i was getting like 40K per kill. I think i technically only took a matter of hours to do it but i did it over two days. The trips back and forth to a npc trainer plus the cost of skills cost me a lot of money but it was an easy grind.

Three nights ago I went with a team of about 6 to raid an Imp base and received lots of SL (in the neighborhood of 22k per AT-ST).

Last night we went on the same raid with about 8 and I got 13k per AT-ST.
