Here is a much needed SL ability for the revamp:
Let the squad leader able to remove poison/disease from group.
It would balance the zerg rush.

Daboora this is a doc ability already. Perhaps they should give them the area cure ablility becuase that would help against CMs who simply win PvP because they can apply more poison/disease than docs can cure them usually.

Not to be mean but, IMHO this is not even near beinga good idea. How does it makes sense for a Squad Leader to be able to cure Poison/Disease? It doesn't.

Besides; there's absolutely nothing wrong with CM power levels. It's just that armour and doctor buffs make you all but invulnerable to anything else. Once that nerf hits, we'll probably see the normal combat professions doing more damage than poisons can again.

I suggested this awhile back. Made perfect sense to me, I hope it gets put in.
I had people respond saying SL shouldn't be able to heal what doctors do, because that wouldn't make sense. But they can cure stun/dizzy so I don't see how that response is a legit counter. Makes sense to me, the SL could "Make his team focus their mental abilities" to cure poison/disease.

I suggested MITIGATION earlier and still got flamed for it. Curing would have still been the doctors function while the SL would have been able to stifle the poison/disease from doing alot of damage. Forget this ever from happening.
With the HAM revamp the MIND wont be as vulnerable as before as well as be a healable. Poisons will probably just supplement regular damage after the revamp.

Well that will take alot away from doctors the way CM is right now but i think as a combined skil if a master doctor is in the group with a master squadleader they should be able to cure the whole group. I know doctors want area cures. I think this is the answer.

Honestly IMHO, I whole heartedly agree with Wildside. If Docs cannot get group cure as a regular skill, then it should at least be a granted skill while grouped with a SL. Maybe this should only be a Master granted combined skill or something of the like.

I am against REMOVAL, but I like the ideasof DEFENSE VS. or BLEED MITIGATION because these are DOTs not STATES like STUN and DIZZY.
If we do Poison and Disease we would have to do Bleeds and Fire as well.
What do you guys think?

I agree.. I don't see any problem with some Defense VS or Mitigation...

I'm not against defense vs. either of these, but I am against SLs giving this defense. If such a thing is going to happen, it should given by docs, sort of like a vaccine.
It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense for it to be a Squad Leader ability. If you think about it, how would the leader be supposed to pull this off?

You can get these defenses from looted clothes and skill tapes currently (but they are rumored to not work).
Doctors are supposed to solve the problem not prevent the problem (and we are not really preventing itwould be more of adecrease of the effects). We currently add defenses and terrain negotiation... which doesnt make sense either, but its still good to have.
