Hello. Since I tried what it says in the FAQ and the search option doesn't work.. as usuall lately I'm making a new thread

I type /sysgroup or /sysgroup message and the text after that but it semes nothing happends Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appriciated

Btw, I'm a novice squad leader so I should have that skill

welcome to the prof, achazi.

sysgroup is a GREAT ability and when used properly will lead to more effective group communication and less confusion.

the syntax you should use is:

/sysgroup BLAH BLAH BLAH

your group should then see:

Achazi: BLAH BLAH BLAH

i believe you can test it out by yourself and without a group. of course, you'll be the only one to see it, but it should give you an idea of if its working or not. also, check out the SL Macro Guide for some tips on using aliases to color code your sysgroup messages. you'll also find some other good macros for other skills you'll get as you climb the SL trees

You are leader of a group right? When I try it while I'm either not in a group or not the group leader I get no message and nothing that tells me why.

/sys \#0000cc also works

My favourite part of Squad Leader is that I can:

Squadleader : Commands you to take a 5-10 minute break while I have a smoke!
