Thread: Squad Leader Weapons
- E5 Carbine (best looking carbine ever)
- Intimidator Pistol (also a real beauty)
- Totchee Pistol (also known as Flare pistol, ugly, but some people like it...)
- Red Hydra Pistol (lower level, uses the model of an old pistol)
- Dawnsorrow Rifle (seems to look great, i still want mine...)

If i missed some, i guess other people will fill in.
Beam Rifle is one that you missed.
Intim, E5, and dawnsorrow are all MSL certed. the others are a little further down the trees. i think around 3rd tier maybe.
welcome to the ranks!

Is the Beam Rifle still SL only? I know it was during CU Beta, but I thought it didn't make it to Live that way. The ones I've looked at haven't list SL, and a commando / rifleman / pistoleer friend of mine was saying a few days ago he picked one up and liked the firing.

Where can you get all of these weapons and what are their stats?
Hehe This gives me a chance to say something I've been dying to post for days.
I think Squad Leaders get some of the Coolest looking weapons in the game. They may not be the "best" but in a group situation that is not needed as often. However, the "oh cool" factor is way high on SL guns.
/agree
and really the weapons aren't half bad either. i'm always suprised the damage i lay with my carb and i have no carb skills, or much weapon skills at all.

I sign for all except the passage that they're not the best guns. At least on my server it's possible to get a not loot-enhanced Intimidator or E5 which can easily compete with other weapons of the cathegory. Several vendors are stocked with such guns and prices usually are fair enough.
Lately i took a look through the "look how great my carbine is" threads in the carbineer forums. Considering that i only had mediocre krayt tissues at hand, i am impressed how well my krayt-enhanced E5 can compete with the carbines presented there.
Thus i would say, our weaponry is a fully win-win sortiment, best looking weapons you can get, and if your weaponsmith has good materials, they also pack some significant punch and can compete with the best. ![]()

I'll clarify by saying I was thinking in terms of quest rewarded weapons, and the particular example I had in mind was Dawnsorrow vs Trando Hunting rifle.
I agree well crafted weapons are just as competitive.
