Question about how far away you can be a still recieve a bonus.

I only know that when I group the +25 melee def and +25 ranged defense shows up only in my Cntrl + S skill mod box. It doesn't show up for the other group members (bug? intended?) How far do other group members have to be to get the bonus? Is there a range limit?

Also I know /boost morale will give wounds to players that are on the same planet. (Not sure if it works when group members are off planet) (bug? intended?)

I haven't had a chance to test out /retreat and /rally to see if they work on the planetary level (but I'm assuming that they will also)

I see some huge issues with this if I'm parked in a cantina getting mind healed by a dancer while a doctor is fixing up my action. All the time I'm spaming bonus's to a group fighting in another area.

Just my observations.

I know for a fact that /rally doesn't work on people over 64m+ away from me.

I often do a /rally as our puller is bringing us something to kill, and very often I hit it while he's still 64m+ away, and he does not receive the effect.

I'll do some testing later tonight to see at what range these work. Let you know then.

I know when I was trying to get Survival XP in a group with a Squad Leader, I blatantly moved far away so I couldn't get the /rally "can't craft" bug. Or is it a bug? Either way, needs to be changed.

I know for sure that you can be farther away than 64+ m to get the /boostmorale to work. I had a mate send me a /tell from the medcenter (we were at tuskens camp) telling me he had just recieved a buttload of wounds. I just wonder if retreat is bugged like this as well.

I'm confused.

People are getting wounds after /boostmorale is used when they are in range or out of range?

Valid points. This would be terrible for PvP.
