Thread: Finally a squad leader... now what?

So, I got to Squad Leader last night. Obviously, it's time to start forming groups!
My problem is, I don't belong to a guild and don't have a "circle of friends", all I can do really is look for pick-up groups to lead. What are some good areas to look for pickup groups? I don't want a group full of newbies that can't kill anything big, which is generally what I get outside the Mos Eisley cantina. I don't belong to a faction so getting groups in Anchorhead or Bestine is a pain. At Wayfar, all anyone wants to do is camp xp at the tusken base around the corner. I used to love Lok back in beta, but now it's a ghost town. Endor would be cool if it didn't cost 10K to get there.
So, where should I start?
Is it time to move away from Tatooine now?
And looking ahead, what are some of the most useful first skills to pick up?
