Was it there and I just missed it?
Or do they really want to leave the most incomplete
proffession, entirely unfixed...

It's not the most incomplete profession.

Agreed. Commando, Droid Engineer, many of the advanced crafting professions, Pikemen, and more were all in need of serious help to fix serious bugs. Stay tuned, though.

Keep an eye on the 'In Testing' page. It will give you a clear picture of what to expect in the upcoming patch so that there won't be any (unpleasant) surprises.

When the most recent In Testing list went up, there were no fixes to Squad Leader on it.

No I think you misunderstand when I say incomplete, I dont mean buggy. I merely mean incomplete, in terms of abliltys granted squad leader has some of the fewest. Thats what I mean by incomplete, it may not have gaping bleeding holes in it, like those that you mention. But it feels as though there is not much modivation to go up the skill tree, mainly because there isnt much to get. I dont want an uber proffession here, just one that feels more complete, more usefull in the role that it was designed for.

I guess for me one thing that stands out that really illustrates the point of SL not being a complete proffession is when you run through town and hear people shouting "group forming" they usually also say "docs needed" or "medics needed" never " squad leaders needed"and you could argue that its because the squad leaders are the ones yelling, but this is most certainly not the usual case. So we have a service oriented proffession like medic, whose services are invaluble to the survival of a squad, and then we have squad leader, which is also service oriented, whose services are nice when present but not really needed. To me this represents evidence that squad leader is not near complete.

LOl actually I have seen novice dotcors running around saying group froming riflemen need marksmen needed... I agree not SL needed. but when you are standing right next to them they do not want to .. SL is broken in so many ways right now that people do not want to gorup and those that want to leader do not want to let you lead becuase their is no advantage in it.

Until you get the novice from your name its something you got to live with no one wants to group becuase.. tey make more solo they want to lead ... that type of thing. funny when you got two group forming and poeple would rather group with the novice doctor then group with the sqaud leader.

But i have faith in the profession and pray they do not make it so pet no longer grant SL XP. hard enough as it is but they do that and we are in for a world of hurt.

I have a mucheasier time getting a group when I display my Combat Medic title than my Squad Leader title. I would like to think its because they dont know of the great benefits of a Squad Leader. Unfortunately, I know thatpeople NOT really knowing aboutSL skillsprobably helps to get people to join.

"Sweet, this guy can put messages in the middle of my screen and grant unnoticable benefits to our group!"
