Hang in there Vem. We're all behind you still.

It's a sad state of affairs when someone who volunteers to be the mouthpiece for an entire class of players has cause to question his own loyalties. I still have faith though, that someone outside of this forum, someone on the other side, MUST understand how futile things are for us right now. I have faith that although that guy might work a little slow, and he might work a little quietly, he's gonna come through for us and make us viable.

Have faith, our day will come.

Hang in there!!!

"Doctor" has had no response to thier issues either, so you are not alone.

This is not a statement to start a "but you have this and I have nothing" thread, so please do not take it that way. I just wanted to point out there is another professionthat has not recieved a hint or a word of acknowledgement to the concerns.

As you can tell by my signature, I watch both.

Well if you feel like at least trying to get attention, what the Riflemen did to try and get the T21 fixed is just keep bumping a single thread in the General Forum.. only took 12 pages but they got at least some sort of response.... "I have but one simple request, and that is for a skill tree with frickin' abilities attached to its frickin' bubbles. My cyclopean colleague here informs me that apparently that's not possible. Honestly devs can you remind us what we pay you for? Throw us a frickin' bone here. We're the Squad Leaders . . .need the info. . .So what do we have?"

"Huh-hmm . . .uh . . .giant floating 'i's."

"Giant floating 'i's?"

"Yes, that's correct."

"Are they ill-tempered?"

"Yes, very. They refuse to go away."

"Well, that's a start . . ."

I've suggested several times to the SOE guys that some custom software be purchased/written to manage customer comunication on things like, bug lists, request lists, changes, user polls, etc. Which the forums have no structure for. I even offered to write it. If you think that some of the CS problem lies in the forum system, please pass this along.

Imagine if they could post changes, then we could all discuss then vote on them in an organized system. They could attach completion dates on the changes, etc...

Just an idea.

----

Honeslty the thing we need is:

A) There plan for Squad Leader.
B) The time line on which these changes will happen.

SOME people can probabily take a month of waiting, but I doubt anyone can take 6 months. People are just playing on hope.

Usually you'll find me as being the very last person to persevere about something and hassle about it, but now it's becoming redundant almost. Unforunately someone has to hold out and stay patient, but there is a thin line between patience and unbelievable longetivity. If, perhaps, there were some elaborate deep discussion about everything in these response posts I would not be concerned. But are we really waiting this long for a 3 or 4 word response? I ensure you I will do every last thing I can to get something on the table, because I (once again, someone who never complains about a game not getting something done) think it's starting to get completely ridiculous. I've tried e-mails, PMs, even e-mailing the CSR's in game ... all to literaly no response or avail. The last I heard from them was that e-mail I have sticky at the top of the page. I'm in the dark shadowy corner just like you are and just like most of you about 2 inches from catching the shuttle to Mos Eisley and becoming good friends with the Bounty Hunter trainer. I think everyone still here has tremendous dedication ... everyone has it enough in the fact they still play the class. At this point in time I cannot critisize people who drop the SL for some other class, because it's completely logical. My arguement of "all you can do is hope of the best" stands about as much ground as saying you should play a Commando for his weapons.

I will continue to hold the ground as much as I humanly can and I hope just as much as you that something gets on these boards sooner than later.

Kudos,
Void

***CHEFS***

ugh...

but you know what? If were a chef, I bet I would be a MORE EFFECTIVE Squad Leader than I am as a real SL... I mean, at least my foods would be giving the group tangible benefits! lol

We all feel you Cap'n. I started the "Top Five Issues" post again and got a realy awsome answer, and am hoping that others will keep that post fresh. I don't know what else to do here other than continue to post and hope someone takes notice. At this poing I think we are just looking for something along the line of, "We see that your profession has problems, but are busy with other issues right now." Unfortunately, we haven't even got that.

I will keep at it, and hope you do the same. Don't give up on what should be a great profession.
