I had been thinking... the problem with squad leader is this.. nothing you do is noticable other then the negative side of things.

Lets say everything realkly is working as intended. if that is the case then for a master SL the effects you bring to a group are so little it is not worth using them becuase the cost is too high in most cases. we make a group move faster over terrain we lead But why not jsut give that to master ranger and toss the rest away.

does a group with a squad leader and everyone with novice scout 4-0-0-1 move the same as a group without a SL and all members having that same scout skill Or does the group as a whole really move faster over terrain?

SteadyAim... we get an Icon over ourself a neat system message that says the leader directs your aim and you get to yell some personalize saying. But how long does it last I have heard 1 Cycle of fireallthe way to 60 seconds. Now if it lasted as Aim for the whole group for 60 seconds well that would be something but not many SLs seem to know themselves how long the effects last.

Rally ... it at times seem to increase defense and to hit.. but the effects are so maginal that for slightly more damage taken to yourself you still do the same thing. In PvP this skill is utterly useles for the small margin of improvment you give. that is if it really is working as intended.

Novice medic novice doctor even novice ranger with one or two teirs of a branch filled in see some type of benefit from their skills. if it was the skill and not luck our is so marginal that it really is not worth it. the discription mentioned something about bringing a powerful advantage to a squad... but has anyone noticed a difference in what is brough to a group weither your a master or a Novice?

Most professions the difference between Master and Novice are so vastly huge and so visable in benefits but for the squad leader weither a novice or a master of this potentual powerful profession... their is no difference.

you do not increase the difficulty of mission rates weither novice or master... but take up a advances wepaon skill and watch the difficultyof missions climb. a Novice squad leader and a master squad leader both have missions difficulty of 10. that alone should say someting.

what i have as a novice is just as good as any master Squad leader at this time from whati have read and seen and played of this profession. and anyone can leader a group of freinds you do not need to be a sqaud leader for that.

we do not need changes other then maybe boost moral what weNEED is more of what we got not just make members of the group without scouting move as fast as members with master Scout. make steady aim actually work increase its duraton and make mobs dodge and evade more for the high ups. steady aim is a pet skill really since faction pets rarely use styles. and you are using a style for them. Voleey fire.. well the pets are already attacking the object you told them too and players .. an un styled shot at your target .. if they are within weapons range.

anyways... maybe we jsut need more of what we already have instead of soemthing different.

No one is paying any attention to this forum. There hasn't been a single dev response here since the beginning of the game.

Since the top five list has already been submitted weeks ago, all we can do is wait.

Could SOMEONE just reduce just reduce the useless SL abilities to 0 skill points. Then I can do something else while you fix this.
