I don't care if you need a Jamming device or whatever, but I would love a skill that would remove my whole squad from the Radar... It would be convenient for sneak attacks and throw off my enemy... While still not being too overpowered... Make them Targetable, just not visualized on Radar

this would be nice for Squad leader

as for ranger /cover should be more to hide in combat not to make your entire squad go poof of the radar this is a Squad leader fonction

I suggested this as well in my skill tree rework:

I called it GroupWarPaint. I wanted to give ussome type ofrole in PvP as well as hide us from humanoid NPC's.

Cover is a rifleman ability. No it doesnt take you off enemy radar screen in pvp. I believe it should but its a rifleman ability not a SL.

/e sprays himself with flame retardent before speaking...

A radar jammer is a GREAT idea. But...I think something like that would better belong in the Smuggler/Slicer tree....

Its a good Idea, I also think Squad leaders should be able to see their group members up to 1024 meters away, this would be very nice in PVP over large terrain battles.

As for it being a Smuggler ability, I disagree, I think Smugglers should be able to detect the cover, not provide it.

radar cover for any profession is a bad thing...

its going to bring imbalance to the professions...

if they add radar cover, they need to have some form of counter active unit placed in the game...

what needs to be DONE with this game is fix the stuff that's wrong with it now, and not worry about additives

Also remmeber part of the reason Radar was freely given in the first place was because certain people could easily cheat and see everyone anyways. This was put in to level the playing field in PVP against hackers. There is really no way to stop people from using 3rd party software to monitor everything.

In EQ I knew people who could locate any mob instantaneously and tell exact locations of everything in the zone. Ourone skill could be easily rendered useless by exploiters. And hardcore PVPers are the most likely to exploit.

Just a thought to keep in mind there

I still maintain that Radar jambing (were it to exist) would be best suited for Smugglers...there the one's trying to sneak stuff stuff around undetected afterall.

The counter-measures for this would probably be best suited for the Bounty Hunter as they're the one's trying to find the sneaky bastages of the world.

Eitherway, it would be useful to a Squad

I hate hackers so much, I really wish we could round them all up and do something terrible to them. So many good moments ruined by them.
