Yea, its really rough. Its rare I get a good group that starts to reallt kill quicklly or at all. evryone wants to search for Kimos all the time. We killed Dune Kimo and I got zero exp because SOE made it if you arent in certain range of it when it dies you et nothing. All that work wasted because it sprints away when almost dead and I cant get to it.
Be sure you're not using a weapon that the mob is 100% resistant to. Although it will appear you are hitting it, it is absorbing 100% of hte damage.
I had this same problem on Corellia and Tatooine. I was doing explorer missions and would throw in a general mission for grins. When the shift came for the general mission, i would get within 200m and it would tell me the missions was completed and the amount was placed in my bank accounts.
This did not happen until after the maint on Sat (which is BS to begin with), but pretty much ruined my whole weekend. ![]()
Heres a war story for you.......
Full group of 20 (inc pets), meet at the Fallen Star Cantina in Mos Entha, go over plans for a Krayt Dragon Hunt, delegate CH Main puller, CH crowd controller, Main tagger and /assist.....off we go.
Stop of at Mon Tiake and clone, buff, off we go..........
Trek across desert to Graveyard (I had scouted it out the day before and planted a few WP's of seen dragons) Find our spot, set up a base camp and get ready to pull our 1st.......
"whaaaaa" over the hill and thru our campsite stomps 3 peeps and 3 AT-ST's who proceed to engage both dragons that are out...We stand there dumb-founded as they cream them like they were paralopes and just simply take over the spot without so much a word or touch of consideration. The only other lair that we can /track already had another PA working it, so of course we respect that.
Needless to say, it was like a bad storm to the moral of the group.........
I don't want to nerf AT-STs but I really think they need some serious restrictions on who and when they can be used.
I'm personally in favor of making Squad Leader part of the requirements.
Before an AT-ST can be purchased and/or deployed once purchased:
- must be an officer in the Imperial service. The higher the rank, the better.
- must be a high-level or Master Squad Leader, since you are basically commanding six or morepeople if you are leading three AT-STs. The SL requirement means that you are trained to lead men, and are not just some pencil pusher.
- must currently be leading a group (or perhaps just 'in' a group).
- must be out of combat to deploy.
If these changes are made, everyone with an AT-ST will have to meet these requirements before they can successfully deploy the AT-ST again.
