I have been Master SL for almost a week now, and am noticing a few small problems with it, and I would like to make a few small suggestions.

1. All these new skills...some look good, others look moderately useful, others look downright useless. I would say please fix the skills we have so that they are useful before adding more things that don't work.

2. Group defense mods: I like these, but I think we ought to be able to do more for a group than simply give them extra defense by being there. Our class is based on the defense and terrain negotiation bonuses above all else. Why not add a small ranged accuracy bonus in one of the threads, getting to about 12-15 by the time master is reached. Nothing to overbalance it, just another reason for people to WANT a squad leader around. While we're at it, I read a suggestion for a skill that directs the entire group to hit one pool of the opponent's HAM, which would be a good idea. That, or allow the squad leader to choose a targeted pool and give the entire group a better chance to hit that pool. Something that would make a group with a squad leader more effective on a bigger mob with a weak point in their HAM.

3. Just some comments on skills

Steady Aim: This needs to last longer than one shot and work better. For the cost, it's not worth having the entire group have better accuracy on one round of shots. Maybe 15-20 seconds or something along those lines.

Rally: Higher success rate is good, but it still seems to last not very long for the costs. If it's gonna cost that much, make it last a while. And allow harvesting, sitting, etc. while it is in effect.

Form Up: This needs to cure a few more status effects, but that's been covered. I think the SL should be able to use the command when dizzy, but at a lowered rate of success. The way it is now, all you have to do is dizzy the SL, and the rest of the group can't get it healed.

Boost Morale: Damage, not wounds, yeah, you knew that.

Volley Fire: Make it work, heh. And add some sort of extra damage to it, rather than just everyone's shots hitting the same target. Make it something a SL can add to a group that a skilled group can't already do. Maybe have a disorienting effect due to the shots coming from all different directions.

That's all for me, except maybe having the SL able to heal mind damage, since it is something that the game is in dire need of. The combat in the game shouldn't be based around one stat, and SL seems the way to go for mind healing.
