Thread: Holocron, Suggestion to Make SLs be a leadership class not a group bonus giver
-Move the ranged and melee bonuses and abilities intothe mobility skill tree (freeing the tactics and leadership lines for the below additions)
-In the Tactics Tree add:

+10 Saturation Fire
+10 group force projection
Take Cover (makes all in group go prone and have the COVER (rifleman ability) enabled)

Force Projection: (10 second duration ability, group receives bonus to hit with ranged weapons, any targets hit by groupmembers with force projection are afflicted with a randomly chosen effect..aka: blind,dizzy,bleed,knockdown,stun,etc).

+30Assault
Assault: 30 second duration command, group members receive high bonuson fire-while-moving, receive a big penalty in ranged defense (-30), have their non-burst run speed increased by 20%

Saturation Fire:Similar to volley fire, except saturation fire has the ability to hit targets in the area up to 40m from the target Squad Leader had chosen when calling saturation fire. Group members lose 1 round of combat before and after group engages in the Saturation Fire. Lasts only for 2 rounds.
Leadership1
-Formation: Single File . Group goes on auto follow staying 5m behind each other in single line. Group receives +10 ranged defense,+20 blast defense -10 melee defense and -10 group terrain negotiation
-Formation: In-line . Group forms up side by side 5m apart from each other. Group receives +10 to hit in ranged attack, -10 melee defense, -10 ranged defense, +20 weapon speed (fire faster),-10 group terrain neg.
Leadership2
Formation: Wedge . Group forms in wedge formation. +10 terrain neg, +10 melee defense +10 to hit bonus -30 blast damage defense.
Defensive Line: Group receives +30 ranged defense bonus, +30 melee defense, +20 to-hit bonus, -120 terrain negotiation (aka, group 'digs in', their movement speed slows to a trickle but they can take a lot more damage than before and fire back, but mobility is sacrificed)
Leadership3
Call to Arms: Group Receives +30 weapon speed. Lasts 20 seconds
Stretchers: Group receives +40 bonus to whatever skills affect the medic's healing skills to heal HAM bars (not wounds).
Leadership4
Field Command: SL receives ability to create sub-groups within his group and issue abilities to each subgroup as he sees fit. SL receives a subgroup menu he can hotkey on toolbar. This will allow the SL to split group members by skills or duties and issue bonuses that would help them in that particular area.
Combat Deployment: SL receives ability to set waypoints for sub-groups or individual squad membersby clicking on the map or clicking on radar.
Now, not everyone likes to have an SL treat them like a pet, so just add a little checkbox on your character's HAM display that will enable/disable SL's to give them orders that will make their characters take actions. those who do not allow the SL to order them around do not receive any of the SL's 'active' bonuses (aka those the SL clicks to activate), but still receive the SL's passive bonuses.
