Hey guys just starting up and thought id ask what skills currently work best and i should get first.

How and what to choose depends alot on how you want your character to develop, what team members you tend to group with and what mobs you fight.

I personally went for Terrain bonus (1st layer) first. That helps alot to transport the group to/from missions. After that i choosed: Rally, Steady Aim, Formup and Def agains melee since we tend to fight those targets most.

Also read the post on how to change colour on /sys commands and make a few static ones for easy use.

I know that some SL skills need to be taken care off but overall its good skills. They are not to be used as spam. Rather used when needed. Call me a opptimist but i have alot of faith in this branch. You might see many negative posts in here.. But try read the ones with tips. Many have helped me alot.

i dont really have a hold lot of sugguestions of skill development chase i havent been able to earn anything beyond novice yet, but i can recomend a good place to train.

try going to imperial out post on dantooine, because dantooine is such a dangerous planet you pertty much have to join a large group or your going to end up dead. for this reason it is generaly really easy to find a gorup of people to join up with. then once your in a group as the current leader if you can take over as leader. generaly if your the only SL in the group they will be more then willing to make you the leader. then just help them out with hunting and you start racking up the SL XP.

Pick whichever broken tree you like =P

almost all of our skills/bonuses are worthless/broken. Terrain negotiation tree is really the only worthwile right now, and even thats debatable.

Id pick any tree but Tactics 1. I made the mistake of picking this first....and a lot of the time it fails, and takes a heavy cost on your mind. Id go with Mobility of Strategy.

Just remember YOU ARE THE LEADER!

I see every1 here complaining about the SL abilities are broken

Personally I DO NOT NEED THOSE skill.

The most powerfull adnimportant skill that we have is WORKING!

And it is the SYSGROUP msg!!!

If u have leadership enough U will see that with only this abilitie u can make ur group Imbatible!!!

I am a SL and I am always hunting in LOK, making mercnaries/canion corsair/gurk mission actualy

And I can say to u for sure, the casualities are minimum to do not say 0 in my group.

The fun/money/xp is fair splited and there isn't a turn where ppl do not say:

Good work!, Nice SL u r!, Can I add u as a freind?, When u go hunt again call me pz!

And it is good, I fell that my job was well done.

And this is my advice, get VOLLEY FIRE firts, this will make ur group EVEN more efficient!

After u get the 2nd column in the 3rd level, start to get the 1st column and maximize it then get the 3rd and 4th to maximum and then get the 4th in the 2nd column
