Thread: movement buffs and debuffs
Can you please tell me where you found that info?
It might result in more points added to the testing plan.

As part of the squadleader changes all movement effects were brought into the same system for stacking reasons. Only the highest buff or debuff should be in effect on the character now. This means if you use force run 1 and a squad leader uses retreat you will begin to move at retreat speed without losing your FR 1 buff. When the retreat wears off you will return to FR 1 speed.
Debuffs taking priority over buffs is an intended change.

Who is Travis Hicks, forum handle? Given that I haven't seen this in Dev tracker, it must be cut and paste off the Beta boards...

Travis Hicks is "Shadowbrak" on the forums. The above quote attributed to him in that locked thread on the TKA board did come off of the beta forum, but since as far as I know those changes are also on TC-PrimeI assume it's safe to discuss what I know - which is this: The various movement pools have been consolidated so that the Squad Leader movement buffs like Charge, Form Up and Retreat will no longer stomp on Jedi Force Run and individual Burst Run. The Retreat issue was in fact one of our pre-revamp top concerns. The buff/debuff prioritization is still getting the kinks worked out, but I do know that - I assume as part of this same movement pool consolidation- they have been monkeying with snares and roots on Test Center. Whetheror how exactly any of this impacts us probably needs to be a topic for further testing and discussion, but I don't have any more specific information.
