Yes I want the SL revamp to be perfect when it goes live and there's nothing i'd hate more than a wapping great nerf after it goes live.

I just need to vent my frustration a bit. Jees publish already. I can't wait until it's published. I'm looking forward to this more than the expansion.

Have the identified SL bugs been fixed on tc yet? I know the "daily" bug reporting on the tc forum isn't daily anymore and the bugs that pop up don't seem massively significant, although I could be wrong - so they must be tweeking the SL prof??

The rhetorical question: I wonder if their plans are to push pub 24 before, at the same time, or after the expansion. *checks date on calander.

Not expecting any answers to this or any replies just wanted to rant and get it off my chest.

I haven't seen any tweaking or fixing to our bugs yet. Seeing as SL is also very heavily being testing in the Beta (its quickly approaching FOTM), and there are large numbers of combat changes going on in the Beta and TC servers, I have a feeling 24 will go live on the 25, same day as the expansion pre-order. Just my $.02.

This probably wont make sense, but, I think someone onthe SOE staff needs to be kept "in the dark" like us mere mortals, so that they can give "face to face" feedback about how it feels to be treated like mushrooms as a result of the NDA (None Disclosure Argreement).

I'm not arguing that the NDA isn't necessary, far from it! But, when you disclose what a publish includes and then combine it with an NDA'd expansion which, people restricted by an NDA are testing; combined with mere mortals feedback on a publish, is a recipie for complete disaster. Communication with customers becomes a legal nightmare.

I hope this scenario doesn't happen again.

And that's my $0.02 worth.

Its happened twice now, to some extent, but is far worse this time around. The CU and the RotW expansion were both tested at the same time, on TC-prime and a TC-Beta server (covered by NDA). This time around we have publish 24 (with AI changes, SL changes, Commando changes, buff interaction changes, etc) being tested on TC-Prime and ToOW on TC-Beta (again, covered by NDA). Thing is, during the CU / RotW parallel testing, the people on TC-Prime were kept fairly up-to-date ( I *think* )on what was being changed and tested, while this time around the TC-Prime crew has been very up-to-date.
