Hello. I havejust received my holo mesage for Master Squad Leader Last night.
I was actually please this time sense my last one was Master Entertainer, which does not fit my personallity at all.
This looks to be an interesting prefession. Im looking for tips on how to grind this profession as quickly as possible. Before any real SL starts to flame. Just know that i am only here for the Master. The quicker you guys get rid of me the better.
Thanks in advance.

Or more accurately Fort Tusken with a lot of people in your group

Now, why Fort Tusken in particular? To they give a lot more SL XP than other places? I've been getting lots of SL XP on Dathomir with a 3 man group. Would it be worth the trip to Fort Tusken with my 3 man Squad? ![]()

wel, I'm no SL myself, just browsing through the forums. But to this topic, a couple of days ago I was in fort tusken with a SL as leader, the exp he got there was 4k-10k per mob, and he was constantly going to the nearest trainer to train a new box, he loved it there.
Another method I heared of was to group with two Jedi and go to Dantooine, but never did that myself, so can't comment on that

I'm a master Squad Leader and the best XP I got was on Dathomir with a group of 10 to 15 people hunting Rancors. I would get anywhere between 17k to 24k per kill. Of course the only problem is that there are no Squad Leader trainers there, at least none that I found. Good Luck!

The reason everyone says Fort Tusken is simple. One of the few static NPC SL trainers found in the game is on Tatooine, in Bestine. Ft. Tusken is a high level mob spawn where many players can gain a large amount of combat xp (the basis for SL xp).
If there were a static location like this on say Rori (another location for a static NPC SL trainer) then people would say go there.
The most ideal situation is to have a Master SL with you and to be on an advanced planet in a large group. If not that then go to dantooine or lok and find a player city there that has a SL trainer, or ask the mayor to set one up for you. Then run missions out of that city and come back to get trained.
That is why everyone says Fort Tusken....

hehe, i was working on dath with a group of about 8 (doing enraged rancor missions) and i was gettign about 18kto 20k each. it came out to about 120k per lair, and i managed to get 1 mill SL xpin about 2.5 hours... hehe, the only problem i was having was that i hit that 500k xp cap really fast, so i was fighitng for about 30 to 45 min getting no xp. but after a filght to rori and back i was up and running again.
i am hoping to master this in about 4 days... it isint quite as fast as master artison or scout, but one of the fastest that i have seen in a while, and it is much more fun than grinding a crafting prof.

To offer some times and numbers I went from Novice to 4/0/4/0 with 900k stored (the max) in 2hrs38min at Fort Tusken in a medium-large sized group (varied from 10 to 15). Although I had the additional benefit of a trainer 1k away in a Player City for the first chain and a Master Squad Leader beside me for the second.

16k SL xp per killand all I had to do was follow them.
Pity I was a master by this point.![]()
