I was under the impression(though i know little about SL, just got novice the other day) that the ONLY way to get SL exp was to be the leader of the group and u get SL exp for the damage ur group MEMBERS do... Well all the sudden today i'm killing npcs for the war w/ my faction pet grouped and posted on "stay" in a safe spot(some exp bonus). maybee i just never noticed it before, but i'm getting SL exp....please just tell me that's how it works =). cause my grouped pet isn't killing anything, it's just me.........thanks

SL xp is based off the Combat xp gained by your group. While grouped with a pet, it may not be generating combat xp but you will be yourself. The amount is very low due to you being the only player generating combat xp.
