I'm trying to find out if when a bounty hunter attacks you, will the squad leader bonuses & commands work. Maybe the defense and not commands, maybe none. Does anybody know?
Maybe you would have to be overt and the jedi be a knight. There's many possibilities. Has this been tested?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The new rules clearly state that no one, not even an SL, can do anything to a jedi once they have engaged a BH. I haven't tested this since it went live, but that is how it should be anyway.

If they cannot do any of their abilities, do the passive mods worksuch asterrain negotiation, and the added defense?
I'd also like a solid answer on the abilties though. Can anybody test this and see if Boost Morale & Form Up work once a jedi is engaged by a BH.
Thank you

New TEF rules prevent any help being provided to a Jedi once they are engaged in combat with a BH. I have not tested the passive bonuses, but the active skills do not work.
Jedi are on their own.

According to a Jedi I fought last night, SL can help a Jedi in combat. I'm assuming this isn't working as intended. I'm also assuming that state heals are an active SL ability, and not a passive defense, but I'm not familiar enough with the profession to say for sure.

I was able to remove the dizzy from a jedi I was grouped with last night whenever it was applied by the BH. This was not intentional as we were getting ready to head to the DWB when the BH attacked. I am sure all the other commands work as well (rally, steady aim and retreat) although I stuck with form up. I was torn as to whether or not to help (having numerous BH toons myself) but if I can help a guildie, I will.
These commands seem to have a limited range (maybe 1500m?). So it would be difficult to have a SL bot considering the randomness of mission locations (updated WP's when you get close to the lair).
Lastly, I have no idea of how the devs would solve this. You can't lock up the SL because when we are PvP'ing, I do not want my commands to be negated by a BH attacking one of the jedi. You can't bump the jedi out of the group because if we are doing something like the DWB, the jedi could be left behind.
I'd be more than happy to work with the SL, BH and jedi community to work this out (if and when it needs to be). I am 1/2/3/4 SL and have access to BH's and jedi in the guild.

This is the difficult part of it. Its really about the BH/Jedi encounter system and as of right now, the system is full of holes. I have brought this up in the Correspondent boards and both the Jedi and BH corr are aware of it. We are all working on ways to make the BH/Jedi system more effective.
In the meantime, I have to push for removing any SL help to either party, only because that is how it is supposed to work in the current system.

Yeah, but a SL with BH3000 would still be able to take the Jedi mission and assist his own squad right?

Correct.
The problem with that though is that there are teams of 5 BHs going up against 1 Jedi. It just isnt fair.
It is a totaly different issue though and not something I want to tackle. I am going to leave that up to the BH and Jedi Corrs.

Well our cantina operates a SL leader (me), and we have had numerous encounters with BH, and Jedi grouped. I personally see no effect on that combat. One question would be "engaged in combat" if the jedi is loopin peace and under attack... that would not tef them as such and All SL bonus should be effective. Now if they decide to fight, perhaps the SL commands are active but passives are just that, a stat bonus like skill tape, and probably would be effective. It does made a difference with FR1 and TN60+ over the normal FR1+33 TN, ranged and melee defense are probably of no consequence to BH +260 accuracy ... hehe. So form-up and Retreat and Rally are those in question. The new FOTM BH are commandoand one ls 0010 was half burnt while chasing, - in Fencer Mode? a BH attacker. Rally and a group meditate totally healed him. It may be if your using jedi, it would lock out, but as a normal profession in combat All commands that I can see work. Tested at least 10 x....lol forgive me if I cheated anyone from a clean gank of 3 on one guy in pajamma's
