Thread: Question from a Master Doctor

Hi,

My alt is a Master Doctor, and just recently acquired Novice Squad Leader (yes I was crazy and dropped TKM to pick up SL). I want him to be a Master Doctor plus everything in SL that is most useful to a group that may be hunting bases

My question is this: What trees should I pursue that would be the most benefit to my group members in this case? I don't want to give up Master Doctor because the buffs are too good. I may change my mind after the CURB, but for now I was just curious what all you experienced SL's find to be the best trees to pursue first...

Ishu (Scylla): TKM, Master Doctor
Givi (Scylla): Master Smuggler, Master Squad Leader
Ockewei (Scylla): Master WS, Master Artisan, Merchant in Training

How many skillpoints do you actually have spare? Means, how many branches can you afford?

I personally would first advise 0034, the last box of the thrid branch "only" gives you /boostmorale, which as a doctor you don't really want.

I just edited as i missed the part with base raids. If you have more skillpoints to spare, they'd in that case probably go into the second branch, /steadyaim might be helpful for the low-accuracy people in team.

With Master Doctor and Novice SL, I have 32 Skill points left, which is basically 2 trees...

Then i personally would suggest 0134. That way you have the maximum of defensive bonuses you can give without MSL and you have /formup, /rally, /retreat and /steadyaim available.

The /formup and /retreat are always helpful (the later as long as you have the HAM...), for baseraids the /rally sure also doesn't hurt and if you get some SEAs the /steadyaim should also become a nice tool for your low accuracy teammates. For the remaining skillpoint... no idea.

Thanks Sylow! That's exactly what I was looking for. 5 stars for you while they still work...

Positiveterrain negotiation is always nice. I trade that for steady aim/volly fireany day. Thatway people can finnaly free up them 29 skill points in the scout tree.

Usually i'd agree upon that, but the requester mentioned that he wants to use it for raiding bases. So in this specific situation i see little use for terrain negotiation and advise the steady aim.
