Does anyone know if Volley Fire works for Faction Pets? I can't see any difference.

and I noticed last night with my group of PC's that even when I did use it, it failed 3 out of 4 times, and when it did work, all I noticed was a sys message that said your SL has ordered you to fire on his target. that was it. didn't notice if it actually did anything.

It does work, but it's not very useful.

The easiest way to see it work, is to engage a group of creatures, and once things are in full swing order a /volleyfire on a different enemy a fair distance away from the action. You'll see everyone turn around and empty a single shot.

Unfortunately, the damage is nothing compared to how combat usually goes since most specials don't work. I usually only use it when my group starts to get overwhelmed. I /sys messages about which enemy to attack, and until everyone switches to it, I /volleyfire on it. Although I can only do it about 4 times (if I have full mind to start, which I usually don't if we're /rally'ed) before I'm toast.

Does anyone know the numbers on what Volley Fire does? I think it must lower defenses of the target... but I could use the details to decide whether it's a benefit or not.

It increases damage on the target by 15%. It doesn't affect defenses or anything, as lowering defenses would be affected by the diminuishing returns formula but the damage increase always is at 15%.

awesome, thanks for the info. Is MSL needed to get to 15%? Curious because I am considering 0400 but want to know how effective it will be.

it also pulls A CRAP LOAD of agro onto you

Yes it does, but the lame cooldown keeps you from doing yourself in!

Go with 0300... the +10 on Volley Fire does nothing.
