Try putting the forward backslash or \ on both sides of the color code. IE: \#123456\rest if whatever you're doing.

Hey there!!
I was wondering about something. Everytime I try to use the color codes that were listed in the SL FAQ in other areas I always seem to get this hexadecimal code gibberish before the message. its like #FC4000 then the message which is in the new color.
Anyone know of a way to get rid of that code junk?
