The continued failure of this command really screws up group coordination and I think we need to raise its visibility.

I am going to createthe following macro:

/bug My /assist command does not work. When I use it the mob of the person who I am assisting is not selected in my selection window.

I would take a working /assist button over all of the new SL commands in a heart beat.

I am also thinking of making it a raid requirement for my PA. Anyone attending my event will have to create this macro and use it every time they log on until it gets fixed!

I agree that this bug is long overdue for a fix. It is driving me insane to be in a group and have people shooting the wrong mobs.

I would even take a new command that somehow causes the "true" target to switch to the "combat" target if that is easier for them to implement. Just give us something please!
