Thread: Anyone else getting asked by team mates if they are going to use their new skills to control them?

Was on a raid last night in Dathomir, night sisters cave, and I had the following short discussion.


Team Mate (TM): Duncaen are you a Squad Leader?


Duncaen (Du): Yes I am.


TM: Are you going to use those new abilities to control me?


Du: No mam!


TM:Hmmm. You sure?


Du: I would never do that to you. I am totally against it. It is just wrong!


TM: OK...


My TM has been on Dath raids with us before. She knows me, and she is one of the few skilled players in our PA right now. This could turn into a nightmare. No matter how many of us SLare displeased with the suggested changes, its got to be 100 time worse to be on the recieving end of the control stick!

Strangely enough, most of my teammates have said they like the new skills and a few of them have said they are thinking of going SL because of them. *shrug* I try to set them straight.

Ugh, yes. I have people ANGRY with me because of these changes. It's annoying at this point.

Well it sounds like a mixed response, which is better then I would have thought. If these "upgrades" do get implemented however, a couple of bad apples can really ruin ourprofession's reputation.

Same on my server. I don't know what is possessing them to do so. I try to convince everyone otherwise. Probably wrong, but why not save people the trouble?

Hey, I thought the OLD Squad Leader skills were cool enough to work up to.

That is, until I used them.
