I just looked at SL abilities and thought of something ...
If you had say 4 other people in your group and they went AFK for say ... several hours, wouldn't you as a squad leader be able to command them to /follow you, fire at targets and get exp, even though they ARE NOT PLAYING?
Sure seems like it to me, and if so, soon SL might be able to make a lot of creds just taking groups of AFK'ers (who might be at work) out to get their combat skills up.
This is a POWERGAMING guilds wet-dream.

You know, as sad as this is to say, The "AFK Gaming" issue is probably the one that will get us to change the minds of the Devs.
I am not saying that it's not a valid point. It's a VERY valid point and I am glad someone brought it up. But I would hope that the fact that the ENTIRE SQUAD LEADER COMMUNITY ranges from highly displeased to downright pissed about the new skills would be enough to make our voice heard.
But I know how this game works. And by this game, I don't mean SWG.
If we can illustrate how a skill or a set of skills could be a major exploit, we can get it changed. That's the truth. The bottom line. And a skill that passes commands to another player's action queue is a pretty obvious one, I think.
Maybe the Devs didn't realize the implications of the skills. It happens, and I can understand that because if I had to design the game IMMEDIATELY thinking about how much my players are going to cheat and try to screw me, I would give up before I got a line of code down.
But the fact is that this thing is exploit city. A PA with one Squad Leader could basically level 19 other people all at once. Even if all they did was hit lower-to-mid level MOBs, quantity would overcome the lack of quality. That's not the intention of the profession and is, in fact, an unforseen consequence. Whenever the Devs find one of those, they do whatever is needed to change the situation.
Let's make them aware of this one early.

One more thought on this topic. How long will it be until people start selling Squad Leader runs?
50,000 Credits for 2 hours!
Trading full Composite for SL Rush to Master Pistoleer!
Or worse, until they start offering it on eBay via PayPal?
This is worse than any loot that could drop, seriously. The more I think about this aspect of the new Squad Leader skills the more I see Squad Leader as being a reviled Profession amongst the people that (currently) have the most interest in it. The people who favor a fun experience over a leveling experience.
And for those of you who think no one will pay money for this. . . people pay to have this done for them in Diablo Frickin' II. A non-MMO free-to-play game.
I have the fear.
